An iconic design with a rich heritage, introducing the Deck Hat by Heimat.
Originally designed for sailors and fisherman, it was later adopted by mountaineers. The hats were worn to protect climbers from little stones falling from above but worn over the ear to make sure you can hear your companions. This is the classic skull cap from Heimat with a 5cm double roll.
The Deck Hat is a smaller version of the other Heimat beanie we carry, the Mechanics Hat which has a deeper cuff.
100% Virgin Wool, virgin wool is from the first sheer of the sheep and is a softer but more durable wool.
