The German Army Trainer (or GAT) is a shoe that has a rich history attached to its name.
In the 1970s, the German army commissioned brothers Adi and Rudolf Dassler, who respectively founded adidas and PUMA, to create a shoe for the military. Both fought for the contract and both ended up producing the shoes and you'll even find close references in their ranges to this day.
The version we have here is such a close resemblance to the original it may surprise you that its not a deadstock vintage pair! Made in Slovakia using an original outsole design from their archives, Novesta have been crafting high quality footwear since 1939!

Laces - 100% cotton
Sized in US Mens and EU sizing these are unisex and fit true to size, we recommend buying off your EU size and can help with conversion if needed!
