Since the brands inception in 1916 Karhu (which is Finnish for "bear") has been leading the way in the running shoe industry and is responsible for most of the technology we see in shoes and sneakers today. In the 1950s Karhu sold its three stripes trademark to a now well-known athletic shoe company that still uses it to this day. The price? Two bottles of good whiskey and about 1,600 euros! Fast forward to today and the brand is still dominating the running shoe game whilst also growing its lifestyle category with regular drops of fresh sneakers which we are proud to offer to you!
