Using vintage knitting machines imported from the USA around 100 years ago, Rototo takes pride in functionality and comfort, producing some of the finest socks in Japan.
A special machine manufactures these playful checkerboard socks to make the yarn ends on the backside of the pattern have a smooth feel. The organic cotton yarn used for this item is produced by a unique fuzz-resistant spinning method called compact spinning.
