Buddy stemmed from a fascination in the ecological, functional and aesthetic benefits of hemp, and a desire to rework wardrobe staples using the wonder plant. Hemp is one of the oldest fibres in the world; it has been cultivated in China since around 8000BC.
Buddy tees are made in China, the leader in hemp cultivation and processing. Buddy works with one vertically integrated company to produce their garments, which means that they own and control the entire process from growing to sewing.
Released in 2022 as part of a limited edition printed run, this long sleeve with the Big Buddy print was one of only 20 produced (per colour). The graphic is printed a top their rich green "leaf" colourway in water-based ink. Made from 240 gsm organic GOTS and OCS-certified fabric.
