J304 Classic Taper Selvedge Jeans

Located in a small town called Kojima, Okayama, Japan Blue Jeans are one of the premier manufacturers in the region. Housing both Japan Blue Jeans, Momotaro and their proprietary fabric mill Collect, they bring the perfect blend of world-class denim and value to the Japanese denim market.

The J304 is part of JBJ's "Circle" range, named after the curved shape of the waistline that creates a comfortable fit around the waist. An enduring favourite that we have featured at I&P since 2021, it features a straight fit through the seat and thigh with a subtle taper from knee to ankle. 

The 12.5oz denim was woven in-house by JBJ using African cotton. 12.5oz fabric is the perfect weight for daily wear, utilising the long-staple fibres for a soft and durable fabric with a subtly beige tone. After being sewn, the jeans undergo a single wash process to reduce shrinkage and soften the fabric, ready to hit the streets!

Fit Note - As these have been rinsed, shrinkage is unlikely if washed according to instructions. Some people choose to go up 1 inch in size for a looser fit (eg. if you wear a 32W, a 33W may also work).
