Lee - Vintage "Riders" Relaxed Taper Jeans

The company we know today as Lee Jeans began life as the H.D. Lee Corporation, based out of Kansas. Mr Henry David Lee launched his business venture back in 1889 as a grocery wholesaler that used the new network of railroads to ship fresh produce across previously impassable distances.

Lee stumbled into workwear after he had trouble sourcing adequate supplies from his Eastern workwear suppliers and began producing overalls for his workers in-house. Overalls became coveralls, coveralls became locomotive jackets—and finally jeans and denim jackets.

This pair of Lee jeans is a testament to quality goods. Despite their age, the condition of these is phenomenal and the fit is very contemporary. They're crafted from a perfectly faded black denim, and they feature a high rise with a relaxed fit in the thigh and a slight taper to the ankle.
