orSlow - 105 Washed Selvedge Jeans

Ichiro Nakatsu, Founder and Creative Director of orSlow, takes inspiration and makes exacting tributes from his extensive vintage collection. Denim and military wear crafted with slow consideration on old machines that replicate heritage garments.

A part of their core range, the 105 Jeans are inspired by jeans of the 50/60s with their high rise and straight cut. They're crafted from natural indigo-dyed selvedge denim woven in Japan and feature their signature "2 Year" wash.

The two-year name was given as a reference to the fading and distressing of the pair that designer and founder Ichiro Nakatsu personally wore for two years. orSlow's 2-year wash is achieved by sanding each pair of jeans by hand, then processing them through a wash cycle with pumice stones, and finally redyeing them with brown or grey to achieve the desired fade.
