TSPTR is an acronym standing for Truth, Symmetry, Pleasure, Taste and Recognition, the five design principles of Louis Sullivan, American modernist architect, designer and 'the father of skyscrapers'. He believed that 'form should ever follow function' and TSPTR subscribes to that ideal. Their garments channel the history of the original counterculture, exploring subculture, politics, music, protest and film. Their passion for clothing with meaning ensures each TSPTR garment has both great design and a great story.
Produced for Fall 2022, this shirt is based on a shirt worn by Neil Young while on a trip visiting Dennis Hopper in Taos, New Mexico. It's crafted from a cotton jacquard in vibrant tones of teal and orange, inspired by desert sunsets. It has a regular fit with a button front closure and double chest patch pockets.
