Whitesville - Heavy Waffle-Lined Zip Hoodie

Whitesville was a brand owned for a short time by Montgomery Ward and had been one of the more popular sportswear brands, especially for t-shirts and varsity jackets, until the late 1950's. Eventually, they were overshadowed by Champion, Hanes, and Russel and closed down. Toyo (Sugar Cane, Buzz Rickson, Sun Surf, etc.) have acquired the license to the name and are reproducing these garments with the original art on the packaging and tags.

This ultra heavyweight hoodie is made from 100% cotton and has been further fortified for warmth with waffle knit thermal lining throughout. The exterior sweatshirt was knit on loopwheel machines with no side seams to be seen. It features a front zip closure with a kangaroo pocket on the front.
