CCC by Checks Downtown - Denim Shorts

Debuting in the Spring of 2023, the Canterbury x Checks Downtown collaboration presented a fusion of both brands' signature silhouettes. It featured a full selection of tees, sweats, rugby polos and trousers, all bearing the "Checks of Downtown" branding (riffing on the Canterbury of New Zealand wordmark).

A standout from this collection was the denim shorts, a traditional "stubby" silhouette with all proportions blown out, aligning them with Checks' signature oversized shorts look. They're crafted from a cotton blend denim with a heavy stonewash treatment. They feature the Checks of Downtown branding on the front and "The World's Toughest Activewear" on the back. It has side seam pockets as well as a single patch pocket on the back.
