Samurai Jeans - Indigo Sashiko Open Collar Shirt

Founded in 1998 by Tohru Nogami in Osaka, Japan, Samurai jeans are instantly recognizable by the flash of silver thread woven into the selvedge—a callback to the steely glint of samurai swords of yore. Samurai produces very unique fabrics, some heavily slubbed and dyed with natural indigo. As you’d expect from a Japanese denim brand, the quality of construction, fabric, and finishing are second to none.

This shirt is a release from 2022 and features a naturally indigo-dyed sashiko fabric. It has a 50s style open collar, square hem, single pocket and cast iron cats-eye buttons.
