Sunray Sportswear - Pigment Dyed "Haleiwa" Loopwheel Tee

Quality takes time, which is why it takes over 1.5 hours to make every Sunray garment. They focus on slowly producing the best product, sustainably, with no compromises! Utilising the skills, experience and specialist machinery of small artisan workshops in Japan, Sunray is a case study on how a t-shirt is anything but "basic".

Made from a soft 260gsm recycled cotton jersey, each t-shirt is produced on antique loopwheel knitting machines in a slow process that takes roughly 1.5 hours per tee. This allows the tee to have no side seams, whilst the slow knitting process produces no stress on the yarn to prevent it from going out of shape. It's a classic fit, not oversized and not too fitted. This variation was part of a limited run on pigment-dyed tees, expertly dyed by artisans in Japan. Titled "Delicacy", it has an extremely subtle pink tint that is most visible in direct sunlight.
