Levi's Vintage Clothing - 1947 501 XX Selvedge Jeans

Levi's Vintage Clothing (LVC) is a sub-label of the iconic denim brand. LVC collections are faithful reproductions of Levi's products from bygone eras. From the leather jacket worn by Einstein to buckle-back jeans worn by gold miners in the 1800s, LVC garments are a denim collector's holy grail.

The pair we have here is a "stitch-for-stitch" reproduction of 501s made after World War II. As soon as raw materials became available again, Levi Strauss & Co leapt back into production to meet the growing demand for post-war denim.
