On his first trip to Hawai'i in 1957, Reyn McCullough was captivated by life in the Hawaiian Islands. In a little grass shack that was set up under the palm trees on Waikiki beach, seamstress Ruth Spooner was busy building her one-sewing-machine operation. Soon, Ruth merged her business with Reyn’s, and the name Reyn Spooner was born in 1961.
Reyn Spooner's traditional Spooner Kloth, which was first introduced in 1964, combines combed cotton with properties of spun polyester. Reyn created enduring classics that paved the way for the Aloha shirt’s acceptance around the globe and earned Reyn Spooner the designation "The World's most collected Aloha shirts"
The pattern on this '90s classic pop-over shirt is a blue base with yellow and red flower motifs. The chest pocket is perfectly pattern-matched, and the fit is super relaxed.
