Alpha Industries is an American clothing manufacturer founded in 1959 in Knoxville, Tennessee. Initially a contractor to the United States military, the company grew into an international commercial seller of American military style and fashion apparel.
Inspired by the classic L-2B they produced for the military, this lightweight variation features a matte nylon shell with a nylon lining that is reversible to Emergency Orange. The L-2B bombers were designed to be lighter-weight counterparts to their legendary MA-1 jackets with very minimal padding to prevent bulk and excess weight. It features hand warmer pockets on each side, sleeve pockets and a front zip closure.
