In 2009, two friends working in the Parisian fashion industry started a project that would showcase classic French workwear, and Bleu De Paname was born. Flash forward over 10 years, and although the team and collection have expanded considerably, BDP is still working to maintain the traditions of the undeniably French garments that inspired them all those years ago.
Inspired by US Marine Corps P-44 trousers of the 1940s (affectionately nicknamed "monkey pants"), these shorts fuse them with French utilitarianism with the use of cotton moleskin fabric. They feature a relaxed, knee-length silhouette with 5 pockets throughout, adorned with carved wood buttons.
