In 1994, Swiss couple Edwin and Salomée Faeh were granted a license to create lines of clothing for the European market under the name Carhartt Work in Progress (WIP). Carhartt WIP is much more of a streetwear label than its American counterpart.
The Backley Cap is a structured five-panel style made from a midweight cotton canvas with a reinforced front panel. It features a firm, flat peak, as well as metal ventilation eyelets and an adjustable strap. A woven Square Label on the front completes the design.
