In 1994, Swiss couple Edwin and Salomée Faeh were granted a license to create lines of clothing for the European market under the name Carhartt Work in Progress (WIP). Carhartt WIP is much more of a streetwear label than its American counterpart.
The Skill Pant is one of Carhartt WIP's silhouettes from days gone by (replaced by the Simple Pant). They're crafted from their ‘Cortez’ 8.8oz twill – a polycotton twill designed to be lightweight yet very durable. They have a straight leg with a low rise and feature two side pockets, bartack stitching at vital stress points, two rear pockets and a woven Carhartt ‘C’ logo label.
