The origins of the iconic Dr Martens label can be traced back to 1945, when its namesake founder, D. Klaus Maertens, developed an innovative air cushion–soled shoe to help with a foot injury. In the decades since, the British label has become a household name, known for its reliable, army- and workwear-inspired designs.

An icon in its own right, the 1460 has made its mark on footwear and youth culture. It's crafted from smooth leather with their signature bouncy PVC sole, iconic yellow stitching on the welt, and instantly recognisable black and yellow woven "pull tab".
