Iconic American heritage brand L.L.Bean was founded in 1912 by Leon Leonwood Bean in Freeport, Maine. An avid hunter and fisherman, he was inspired to create the "Maine Hunting Shoe" after returning from a hunting trip with soaked and sore feet. The original design of the "Bean Boot" combined a leather upper with a rubber bottom, addressing the problem of wet feet in the outdoors.
A perfect shirt for the winter wardrobe, this piece is crafted from washed Oxford fabric in a beautiful purple and white check pattern. It has a classic fit, button front closure, and a single chest pocket. Constructed with twin needle stitching throughout, except the shoulder, which is triple stitched.
