The grandfather of blue jeans, most of the globe recognises the little red tab stitched on the side of the back pocket. Founded in 1853 Levi's is an American Heritage brand with indigo and denim being part of their DNA.
The original jean, the 501, has earned its place in the fashion books. This pair was produced in the USA during the late 1980s. It's crafted from a midweight, non-selvedge denim that has been perfectly worn in over the past 40 years. They have a mid-rise with a straight leg.
This has been repaired in-house by Indigo and Provisions. A hole by the back pocket has been patched internally with upcycled Ralph Lauren chambray before being reinforced with sashiko hand-stitching.
