In 1975, Isamu Tatsuno started Montbell with two of his mountaineering partners, Fumiaki Masaki and Sachiko Masuo. Since then, Montbell has been developing outdoor products that follow the Japanese tradition of kinobi: function is beauty.
Crafted from a lightweight and water-resistant stretch ripstop, the South Rim shorts are ideal for activities from Spring to Autumn. The fabric provides 2-way stretch, while the gusseted crotch allows for easy leg raising, delivering great performance on more adventurous trails. It features a belted waist to get the perfect fit and 5 zippered pockets.
