Founded in 1998 by Tohru Nogami in Osaka, Japan, Samurai jeans are instantly recognisable by the flash of silver thread woven into the selvedge—a callback to the steely glint of samurai swords of yore. Samurai produces very unique fabrics, some heavily slubbed and dyed with natural indigo. As you’d expect from a Japanese denim brand, the quality of construction, fabric, and finishing is second to none.
Styles after US Military Chinos of the 1940s, these incredible trousers/jeans were released to celebrate Samurai's 15th Anniversary. The SJ42DP feature a mid-rise with a straight leg cut. They're crafted from a rigid 15oz indigo denim with their signature silver selvedge ticker. These are seriously cool!
