G.A. Krause believed in American opportunity. In 1883, he founded a small leather tannery with a handful of employees. With a hyper-focus on craftsmanship, their Michigan company produced work boots and gloves famous for comfort and toughness.
Probably best known for their "1000 Mile Boot", first introduced in the 1910s. It was named because it offered 1000 miles of wear.
This pair of 1000 Mile boots is crafted from "Spice" leather, a warm tan colour cowhide tanned by the legendary Horween tannery. They feature a 7-eye lacing system with the 3 speedhooks, a leather sole with an Italian Vibram heel.

Good Condition - The upper looks excellent. There is a bit of wear on the soles, but plenty of life before they require a resole. They include the original box and dustbag.
