Spring on film by Cam

We asked local film photographer Cam (https://www.instagram.com/__cammy_h__/) to take a few of our pieces out around Christchurch and create a spring lookbook for us. We also asked him to pen a few words about his love for film photography:

Cam - "There's a few reasons why I love taking photos on film. Film is expensive. For me that's a good thing. Its always in the back of my mind knowing that every shot is worth something. It causes me to slow down and think deeper about each shot; making sure the settings are correct, and that the composition is on point. Also not being able to instantly check the photo just after I've taken it; that's another reason to slow down and make sure I've done everything I can, to get a good image. I guess in summary shooting on film is a way for me to slow myself down and meditate."

He shot 7 rolls of film on the day which we are going to curate into a zine at some point. For now enjoy a selection of images below!
