Founded in Red Wing Minnesota in 1905, the family-owned business has been making footwear in the United States ever since. Each pair is crafted using premium leather from their own SB Foot Tanning Company, with many of the original lasts from the early to mid-20th Century, still as relevant today as when they were first created. This includes the iconic no. 8 last, which the Original Moc Toe boot was formed with in 1952. Red Wing Heritage continues to build on this historic legacy with their continued commitment to producing quality footwear in the USA homeland.
The Beckman is named after Redwing's founder, Charles Beckman, and is a 6-inch boot with cotton laces. The Featherstone leather used in the 9014 model is known for its polished finish and ability to take on a rich, oiled appearance with wear. GoodYear Welted using a layered leather "Roccia" outsole with rubber traction, which provides grip on any surface.
