Japan Blue Jeans - Ripstop Utility Overshirt

Founded in 1992, Japan Blue Co. is one of the leading denim and jeans brands in the world, manufacturing in Okayama prefecture in Japan. They started their in-house label, Japan Blue Jeans, in 2010 to properly utilise their vertically structured business to bring the best quality garments crafted from the best quality textiles at an appropriate price point.

Stylistically, this piece takes inspiration from traditional military shirting with its classic silhouette and large front pockets. To alter the style to become outerwear, JBJ has added button adjusters at the cuff and waist alongside side seam pockets for a proper jacket experience.

This piece is crafted from lightweight yet sturdy 9.5oz fatigue ripstop. It is a high-density plain weave fabric with thick threads woven in a grid pattern that prevents the fabric from ripping. It has a crisp in-hand feel and luxurious texture.
