TSPTR continues to reign as kings of the graphic tee with a new collection centred around the 1960s / 70s heyday of the Peanuts comic strip. Schulz’s teenage children found themselves indulging in the latest West Coast trends of the era, from skateboarding and motocross to surfing and live music. This collection celebrates those So Cal people and places.
In 1977, Malibu Records opened its doors, pulling in customers from the entire Malibu area, including Topanga, Zuma and further afield. Much of its success was due to the volume of musicians living in Malibu at that time, including: Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Elton John and members of the Eagles, among others.
