Patagonia - Classic Retro-X Fleece Jacket

Yvon Chouinard, Patagonia’s founder, got his start as a climber in 1953 as a 14-year-old member of the Southern California Falconry Club. The company DNA is deeply rooted in the outdoors. Yvon would see problems in climbing gear, outdoor equipment, mountaineering clothing etc. He would then work on improving what he felt didn't work, and once redesigned, release products that revolutionised the industry.

One of the brand's iconic pieces, the Retro-X is what pops to mind whenever we think of Patagonia. The soft-pile fleece is made from "REPREVE® recycled polyester" which is certified by OceanCycle and sourced from coastal communities at risk of plastic pollution. The classic contrast pocket on the chest is present, as is all the usual features you'd expect from a heritage outdoors brand.
