Twenty-Seven Names - Tiered Linen Dress

Rachel Easting and Anjali Burnett met at primary school. After studying art and fashion respectively, the pair began working on small-scale projects before launching their brand ‘twenty-seven names’. The label name is a homage to the list of 27 people who helped to get their label off the ground. Proudly made in New Zealand since its inception, the brand’s values lie in a commitment to sustainability, ethical production and supporting local industry

This beautiful 100% linen dress is from their Spring 2019 collection, dubbed "Time to Spare". The collection is a love letter to the designer's hometown of Wellington and the wistful memory of boredom and freedom. The dress features long sleeves that finish just above the wrist bone, a tiered construction and mother-of-pearl buttons on the cuffs and back of the neckline.
